It is characterised by slackening of effort and by attainment of samapatti.

Asana is a body posture which is steady, comfortable, effortless and has the capability to take the practitioners mental faculty into infinity.

At Swami Krishnananda Hatha Yoga Shala, Mysore we are teaching 108 standing,  sitting, balancing and lying down asanas. We are also teaching the judicious use of props  in persons who need it. Breath awareness and chakra awareness are also paid due  attention. The benefits, contraindications, complimentary and counter poses are taught
